Since 2008, Jamba has shared her culinary skills at a variety of small & large venues: food pantry fundraisers, health awareness concerts, and festival events as close to home as Pennsylvania and vegetarian cook teams as far away as international beach festivals in Central America with an annual attendance of 5,000 plus persons.
Jamba is known for her eclectic cuisine: traditional southern Sweet Potato Pie, American classic, made from scratch, Strawberry Shortcake, fruit filled flaky Pie Cups, and replication of authentic, homemade Salsa for her, hot off the grill, made before your eyes – Quesadilla’s.
The name JambaLu is homage to her two spiritual mentors: “Jamba” is a shortened version of the name given by her, later in life, spiritual mentor. And “Lu” is the phonetic, shortened version of her mother’s first name, “Louise”, affectionately referred to as Aunt Lou, or Momma Lou. Momma Lou, as with most people, was Jamba’s first life’s mentor, and cooking coach. Jamba’s desire is to share and infuse her cooking with the loving influence of these two special souls.

Miss Jamba’s cornbread muffins are very unique, moist, and just down right delicious you can eat them as a snack or with a meal. I would recommend pairing them with your favorite chili.
Jamba’s food is heavenly. Southern vegetarian Soul food. Try her corn bread, pies and sweets. You won’t be disappointed.
